Beat Chinese food in Bayside hands down! The food is delicious! I love it here! This is my favorite spot!

One night I was randomly craving an egg roll and some mushu I haven't had this in years and I didn't even have a go to Chinese place .... I decided to place an order here and to my surprise the food was absolutely delicious, not greasy and full of flavor. It was one of the top Chinese I have had in a long time ! It was so good I have already had it two more times ... definitely check it out !

I had the privilege of overseeing the food station during our event, and I must say, the dishes you donated left everyone in awe. Your General Tso"s Chicken was a true masterpiece, offering the perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors that left our guests craving for more. The beef with onions and green peppers was an absolute hit, with tender meat and perfectly sautéed vegetables that showcased your culinary expertise. The chicken and vegetable medley was a delightful surprise, boasting a vibrant combination of flavors and textures that left everyone's taste buds dancing with joy. And let's not forget the egg rolls - crispy, golden parcels of deliciousness that disappeared within minutes, leaving smiles on everyone's faces. It's rare to find a restaurant that not only excels in taste but also in their commitment to community. Baybridge Szechuan, you've not only satisfied our appetite but also filled our hearts with gratitude. Your contribution to our event was truly appreciated, and I can assure you that your culinary delights were enjoyed to the fullest by all. Speaking as a Chinese American, this "traditional" Chinese American fare is probably the best in the neighborhood. Food and service both were excellent. Waiters dressed in black and white. The owner came by to make sure we were satisfied. Dining room was clean and spacious. Tables topped with traditional table clothes and table settings. Music was nicely muted in the background, not blasting in your ears. And having parking right outside really helps. If you do the occasional Chinese take out like we do, you should try it fresh and hot at a decent sit down place like Baybridge Szechuan.

TLDR: Don't let the looks fool you. Affordable, pretty tasty neighborhood Chinese. Popped in randomly for dinner one night. Have to say - servers are super friendly and nice. The food was pretty decent! Hot and Sour Soup was tasty, the spicy Hunan beef was good and the triple delight (recommendation) was filled with protein and a good price. We also grabbed a half Peking duck that was decent too. Pretty good if you're in the area.

Joe & Carol Chen opened here in 1982 and retired in 2019 & I'm thrilled they are back. Their Szechuan restaurant has been our go to forever. They've gotten older, but so have we! The restaurant still feel new and contemporary with new dishes & lavender tablecloth's. Everything is delicious and has just the spice according to individual taste. Interesting lunch crowd Tuesday afternoon. Members of the army at Fort Totten, retirees & a real estate agent renting & selling apartments. There was a steady stream of take out & pick up orders. As soon as we sit down we get duck sauce, mustard, steamy hot tea and fresh crispy wide noodles. Everything we order is always delicious. When we get takeout it comes hot and perfect. Wish the Chen's retired to Florida like everybody else!
